Details About IGNOU Admission 2018
Indira Gandhi National Open University was developed by
an act of Parliament in 1985 and it started two courses in 1987 namely a
diploma in management and a diploma in distance education. At present, the
university has more than 2.7 million dynamic students as compared to 4,528
in 1987 enrolled in 400 programmes, including 3500 courses at certificate,
diploma, degree and doctoral levels, in disciplines ranging from the
traditional and classical to the emerging and offbeat. Almost all courses
are distributed through the English and Hindi medium apart from the certificate
in food and nutrition, which is in 14 languages.
As per current news, the university has 21 schools of
studies, various centers, a network of 67 district centers, including 47 openly
associated with IGNOU, nine in the north-east, six for the army, four for the
navy and one Assam Rifles centre and about 3,240 study centers and 82 overseas centers.
Indira Gandhi National Open University has 48,000 teachers from the conservative
system who conduct counseling sessions where students can come for uncertainty elimination

How To Apply?
First of all, students must have required eligibility
criteria such as for Post Graduation Courses they must have Grdaution degree in
concerned stream, For Graduation degree courses they must be 10+2 passed from
reputed board. For other courses, you want to take admission then must go
through above mentioned official link. Students should need to pay application
fee of Rs. 200 and it will be paid through debit/credit card and Net banking.
Students who apply through offline mode they can buy the
prospectus from the regional centre in person for Rs. 200/- or through post by
sending DD of Rs. 250/- in favor of IGNOU, New Delhi. Thereafter, for IGNOU Admission, you may submit online
application form before the end date and also upload digital images of all documents
while filling online application form. After that, applicants will get the Form
Preview option and take the printout of the filled admission form for further
reference.
