Jawaharlal Institute Postgraduate Medical
Education & Research has asserted a notification regarding JIPMER MBBS. Application Forms are invited
from candidates who want to get admission to full-time Courses in field of Bachelor
of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, MBBS. Interested ones, to apply an individual have
to fill the JIPMER MBBS Online Application Form before the end date i.e. 3rd may 2017.

JIPMER Eligibility Criteria
Qualification Required
Candidates must satisfy eligibility norms of
it; Candidates must be an Indian National, OCI and NRI candidates
are also eligible to apply. Students must have passed or
appearing 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics,
Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology as compulsory subjects.
The candidate should have passed in PCB and
English individually and should have scored minimum 50% marks in
PCB (for general) and 40% marks (for SC/ST /OBC/ OPH (reserved). General
OPH candidates have to secure minimum 45% marks in the above mentioned
subjects.
Age Limit
Candidates must have completed or should not
be less than the age of 17 years at the time of admission. There is
no relaxation on age limit for reserved categories and upper age limit is
relaxable for reserved category SC/ ST in accordance with the instruction issued
by the government of Bihar from time to time.
Application Fee
Candidates belonging to general category are
required to pay an application fees of Rs 1200/- , appliers
categorized under reserved category (SC/ST) are requested Rs 1000/-. For
NRI/OCI candidates Fee is Rs. 2500/- and fee is to be paid through online
mode only (Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card). Moreover, OPH candidates are exempted from
application fee.
Seat
Reservation – Seats reserved as per different categories for admission in
MBBS course is total 150seats.
JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam pattern
Chemistry, Physics, Biology; these section
will be having total 60 number of Questions in each subject. English and
Comprehension & Logical and Quantitative Reasoning will be of total 10
numbers of Questions in each. Therefore, JIPMER MBBS Entrance Exam will be
consisting of 200 Questions in total….
Question paper will contain 200 multiple
choice questions (MCQs). MMBS entrance exam will be online mode and it will be
conducted through computer based test. No negative marking will be done in
examination and one mark will be awarded for every correct answer.
